need 32bit pam libraries to run on 64bit system, lol
What was your solution? I'm having the same issue with installation of version 1.7.0 on a CentOS virtual machine. During installation, the message "the web monitor cannot be installed as 32bit PAM libraries are not present on your system."
How did you install your PAM libraries?
I used the solution in this KB article. KB70568
I left my the pam libraries alone and didn't have to touch anything else.
They offer a few different options.
i used this one from that KB article.
To authenticate the VSEL user (nails) with the /etc/passwd files, modify the /etc/pam.d/nails file to resemble the example below:
NOTE: The order of lines is important. A reboot is not required after you modify this file.
