      Hi Guys,

       

      We are having a problem installing patches on our EPO 4.5 server. We are at Patch 1 (851). The decision was made to implement Patch 4 on account that all patches are accumulative.

       

      Upon installing Patch 4 we had the errors below....

      PATCH 4 ERROR - Setup has encountered the error:

      FAILURE: In the LaunchAppAndWait while trying to run the following program:

      For more information, search for the error in the EPO450-Install-MSI.LOG file, located in the logged-on user's Temp directory. (Note: Close Setup before searching thhis log file to ennsure all data is written to it.)

      Depending on the error, more innformation may be available in thhe logg files listed below. in thhe logged-on user's Temp directory:

      EPO450-CommonSetup.log

      EPO450-Troubleshoot\MFS*.*

      EPO450-Troubleshoot\Mercure Framework\*.*

      EPO450-Troubleshoot\DBLogs\*.logs\*.log

      These log files are needed by Technical Support whhen troubleshooting installation issues.

      For more information, search for the error in the EPO450-innstall-MSI.LOG file, located in the logged-on user's Temp directory. (Note: CloseSetup before searching this logg file to ensuure all data is written to it)

      Depending on the error, more information may be available in the log files listed below.

      In the logged-on user's Temp directory:

      EPO450-CommonSetup.log

      EPO450-Troubleshoot\MFS\*.*

      EPO450-Troubleshoot\Mercury Framework\*.*

      EPO450-Troubleshoot\TomcatLogs\*.log

      EPO450-Troubleshoot\Apache2Logs\errorlog.*

      These log ffiles are needed by Technical support when troubleshhooting installation issues.

       

      Anyone got any ideas of how we are able to get around these issues.
