I did uninstallation of vse and again resetup .BUt same problem
The problem isn't with McAfee but with your winsock.dll file.
Try "sfc /scannow" from an elevated command prompt http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checke r.html
The error is potentially the result of an infection which has replaced the original winsock file or corrupted it. If the issue still persists after the sfc scan then potentially the virus/rootkit is still present
I have only seen this error when there is a rootkit present. Run our Rootkit Remover and Stinger with the beta dats...it's probably Zero Access.
