    MCSCAN32 Engine Initialisation failed

      Hi, I have, or rather had, VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i (patch 7) installed on one of my domain controllers. It initially installed ok then weeks later McAfee became disabled for unknow reasons. All the event log tells me is MCSCAN32 Engine Initialisation failed. Engine returned error : 8. Nothing else.

      I tried manually applying a SuperDAT and tried patch 8. No change. I even unistalled 8.5i and then installed 8.7i and got the same results. As soon as the software is installed, it disables. I have 8.5i installed on 3 other domain controllers without any problems.

      Any ideas?
