...the UNC path to the server and associated share that holds the replicated files
NOTE: "sharename-of-folder-to-hold-files" must be the share name of the folder shared out bye "servername"
what are the replicated files?can i make EPO without replicated files?
Have you read any of the documentation about how ePO and Repositories etc. work ?
Client agents pull updates down from repositories - these repositories can be either the master repositories at McAfee via the internet - or a local; master repository on th ePO server that you pull a copy of the McAfee updates down to overnight. They can also be a Distributed repository that you use ePO to replicate it's master repository to using replication tasks - for example if you have multiple sites connected via a WAN you would normally configure a Distributed repository on a server that's local to each site and then replicate the master repository to these local distributed repositories to allow all the local client updates to be serviced from a local - LAN Connected server - as opposed to over the remote master - WAN Connected - ePO repository.
