We use McAfee VirusScan Enterprise + AntiSpyware Enterprise 8.7i (184.108.40.2060) , ePO 4.
Recent we have had a spate of VirusScan services being stopped or starting then stopping on a number of users machines throughout our laptop (Windows XP) estate.
These machines that are encountering the problem are a different build to our standard laptops having took over support for them in last 6 months, the only really difference being they use 802.1x & a Cisco ACS to authenticate onto there network.
NONE of our standard build laptop's are encountering this issue, only this "older" different build.
The easy answer would be to re-build all the laptops with our clean, new build, but it’s not as easy as it sounds ,with users being spread across the UK in various different sites (if it had to come this I guess it will be have to be done).
My questions really was, has anyone experienced this at all & do you have any ieads what might be causing it?
