What is the operating system and service pack and what McAfee products are installed on this machine, name and version numbers please?

Zam is an old problem which should easily be dealt with by McAfee or any of the tools mentioned on THIS page.

With the USB stick plugged in try Stinger and Malwarebytes Free - all linked there and if it wont go away or if your documents remain invisible post a Hijackthis log on one of the specialist forums also linked on that page for expert advice.

Hi, and thanks for your answer.

After doing some of your suggestions, Zam has disappeard from USB-memory. Map My documents is still there but in it is only one document who I had copied from another USB-memory to my new computer.

As I see it is my old computer infected by Zam and effects wordtext files. If I copies one file eatch, can I awoid get Zam on USB-memory again? Or what do you suggest?

Both old and new computer is Dell made. On my old computer I had Norton security and on my new McAffe version 11.0 Build 11.0.654 Affid 105-645. Virus Scan version 15.0 Build 15.0.294. DAT-version: 6607.0000. DAT kreatead 2012-02-01.

The old computer is Windows 7 with no service pack?   It should have SP1, see here:  https://community.mcafee.com/docs/DOC-2205 and from what you say it has no security software installed at the moment (had Norton) ?

If it has no protection and your McxAfee account wont allow another installation use something like Microsoft Security Essentials and at least Windows Firewall as protection.

You need to scan your old machine using McAfee and the tools I suggested in that link I posted in my first answer.

                Hi again!

My old computer has Norton for another 20 days. I shall not use it in the future. When I bought it 2005 Dell had cooperation with Norton. On my new computer however is McAfee boutht for 3 year.

Of course it is servicepack on my old computer. Everything is in order, but anyhow Zam is in it´s harddisk. I don´t know how it happend, but one reasen I bought a new computer was because my old is to slow.

My old computer has Windows XP. Installed year 2005 and with automatic updates.

Well there are infections that mutate over the years and Zam may be one of them, and no antivirus is guaranteed to stop everything unfotunately, so try scanning the old computer in 'Safe Mode with Networking' using Malwrebytes free - on the link I posted earlier.

                    Thanks, I try that.

Add scanning archive files to scheduled scan options.

When I scanned my new computer with Dell Scan it occured som problems. So I got nervous and bougth System Mechanic, recommended by Dell. System on my new computer seem to be better now but when I took a system backupp three files couldn´t copies. I add script over files who wasn´t copied.

Dell Scan?   What's that?    Also System Mechanic is not recommended.

It´s from Dell Companys homepage. After scanning my computer System Mechanic was rekommended.

We don't recommend it.   Use registry cleaners at your own risk.  They eventually remove part of the registry that is needed and then  you will start to see malfunctions in your system and software.
