The above problem was due initially to the ePO database being to big which caused errors with the C: / E: EPO and SQL filling up. A clean up of the original db caused further issues and so we restored the db back to the original. We now have a slightly different issue with an error message "The licence ePolicy orc is invalid. Failed to load licence data". This we suspect implies that we have lost a connection to part of the ePO db.
We have checked that the db.properties file has the proper credentials i.e. Port number, Server Name etc and all appears correct.
We are running ePO 4.6 and SQL2008. Any help/advise would be most greatful.
Hi czql5v, you should try to go to https://your_epo_server:8443/core/config, write down agaun credentials and click on the test button to see if connection is working. If it works then you must save and reboot the server.
Also note that (in case of) you cannot restore an ePO 4.5 (or prior) database on an ePO 4.6 server
