the exclusions tab of the scanning policy, the check box:
How to handle client exclusions: Overwrite client exclusions. Only exclude items specified in this policy.
I've unchecked the "Overwrite client exclusions. Only exclude items specified in this policy" but when the EPO Agent updates, the VirusScan 8.7 client list exclusions is lost.
Have you unchecked it on the specific client or further up the directory structure ? - if not on clinet then check that the policy inheritance isn't broken.
