what is the default spanning tree number on the web gateway?

If you want to use the web gateway as a transparent bridge, you need to know what the spanning tree number is for that device.

If you plug your web gateway into a switched environment, you could light up you switches like a christmas tree if the web gateway has a higher priority than the other switches.

There was a feature to change the STP number in  the SIG 3300.

Where can this number be changed in the web gateway?

What happens if you have 2 webgateways running ...one as a standbye on the same network and same spanning tree number?(bad things I am sure)

(I assume they are the same because I used  the same disk to load the software on both appliances.)

      Anyone have any ideas???
