The only way that I know how to do this is to exclude the filetype SA*
Maybe someone will chime in with a better solution.. I'm all ears.
Thanks but unfortunately that would not be restrictive enough for environment. I figured out that I could manually create the exclusion using regedit and then when I repackage my install using Installation Designer it captures that change in my install package allowing me to deploy out to my client systems when I apply the upgrade.
you do it like this as a folder not an extension:
**\*.SRTT which translates to: exclude all files with SRTT extension in any directory or sub-directory.
