have you found a solution for this problem? We have the same prob. EEM Version 9.6. With android os works fine, but apple ios... I think that is an problem with the ssl certificate. If i log with a sniffer on server, i see that the ios-device build a connection to server. But this is the only one. Then the device shows "connection failed". Really very much information in this message!

I have fixed this.
At first you need real registered domain name which is resolvable in WWW.
Also you just need to use Real CA to generate your SSL certificate for IIS where EMM will be installed
Then when you have already generated and add the SSL certificate from cert authority you must create the MDM certificate request to the McAfee support
the most important point that first two steps must be performed in listed sequence and everything work fine

For iOS gives a app "System Console". With this app you can look the system logs from iPad or iPhone. However, in the systemlogs i saw that the EMM client drop the connection because the certificate was untrusted. It was a self-signed certificate.
With a ssl certificate where was generated from a real CA, everything works fine.
Please provide me with more information about "System Console". Where can i download it?

For free. This app is designed for iPhone, but works fine on iPad too.
With this app can you see the system logs. Very helpfull!
