I've conceded the fact of no toolbar in Thunderbird and Windows Live Mail. But how to I get the program to even filter mail. I have both Thunderbird and Windows Live Mail on my Windows 7 PC.. Both are set to leave my mail on the server for 7 days (so I can retrieve from both while I sort out which one I'll use.in the end). It is a POP3 account. My setting is "restricted" so only mail from those on my friends list will make it to my inbox. I have all 3 types of clients checked for a toolbar (albeit useless at this point). Why won't it filter my mail?
Please try the below instructions which help to update the plug in.

Sorry, that is to correct the missing plug-in for the toolbar. My problem is that the program (Anti-Spam) is not even filtering. It all started after Thunderbird was upgraded to Version 7 (now it's on 8). I then decided to try Windows Live Mail and it will not filter there either. All settings are where they were while Anti-Spam was filtering.
