Sorry Folks after re reading I didn't supply enough information we currently run EEPC 5.1.7 on our current XP Laptops and are looking at migrating across to E-Policy so will need to migrate anyway, would this then allow us to deploy to XP and WIn 7 machines once we complete the migration phase, I would like to go to EEPC6.1.x Thanks
The supported OS list for all versions can be found in the KC - https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB68053
But no, 5.1 predates Win7 by many years, so it's not supported on that platform. The EPO version of EEPC, and the version you are using now, are completely different products - you can migrate from v5 > v6, but they are very different. You can either keep on the v5 series, mix v5 and v6, or migrate to v6, the choice is up to you.
Thanks for getting back to me and the above link, one more question (I hope)
If we intend to have a mix of v5 and v6 client in place so we can now deploy win 7 Laptops, then we later migrate our V5 users to the Epolicy Server which we would be deploying the Win7 laptops. I take it their will be no issues in migrating the V5 to the new Epolicy server. I seem to recall that the EE management server had a unique key associated with it when it was built which is what our encryption algarithem is based on or am I missing something?
Thanks again for your advice.

There'a a migration guide with EEPC6 - it's best to read and work through that, it answers all the common questions.
HI Safeboot how is licensing handled if I have EEM with x number of seats and I want to carryout a Proof of concept on a test Epolicy server and get experience with the front end and deployment/support process etc, how are they licensed as I normally have to add a new licence Key to EEM to allow for extra seats.
Thanks in advance for answering my basic questions :-)
