    High CPU Usage

      I have ViruScan Enterprise + AntiSpyware Enterprise 8.5.0i installed in all PCs at work. My problem is that the program is using most if not all of the resources on most PCs. What can I do the stop this problem? Most of the PCs run  Windows XP Pro with SP 3 but  I have about 5 with Windows 7 installed. Thanks in advanced.

          Moved from Home & Home Office to VirusScan Enterprise for attention.

            First update to vse 8.7 or 8.8

             

            McAfee VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.5i (including supported patches), the AntiSpyware Enterprise 8.5i plug-in, and McAfee Installation Designer (MID) 8.5 will reach End of Support (EOS) on December 31, 2011.

             

            McAfee will not provide support for this version of the product and its related components beyond this date. McAfee strongly recommends that customers who are still using McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i make provisions to migrate to the latest version of the product by this date.
