Is this only happening on VSE 8.0 ?
There is an update for EPO on the way which will fix this issue. Release on or about the 19th Nov.

Is there a way to get this update before the 19th of Nov?
You will need to call McAfee and ask them.
They might release a copy to you since you have an issue the patch is suppose to fix.
Im getting these on my Exchange box's and we are using VSE 8.5
I'm seeing them with 8.5 as well.

Issue: On systems running VirusScan Enterprise the McAfee Agent did not remove the Temp files created during the execution of an “Agent Update Task”. (Reference: 419066)
Resolution: The McAfee Agent now removes the Temp files created during the execution of an “Agent Update Task”.
NOTE: This change does not remove the Temp files created during the execution of an "Agent Update Task" prior to implementing this patch.
That says it only applys to VSE 8.0
From Mcafee support I recieved the SP1 update for the Windows Agent. I will let you know if it works.
