    Printng issues

Ver 11.00 on a 4 pc network without a networked printer, have lost capability to print as the central printer, only way around it is dropping the firewall of the pc it is connected to enable the other systems to use it. Any ideas??

I have a 3 PC wired network and 1 networked printer and 1 connected to my PC that others can access if My PC is turned on. Is yours wired or wireless?

I assume the network works with the firewall active ie PC1 can access PC2 etc? Have you trusted the network?

Really cannot see where the firewall could interfer unless...

In your firewall My network connections you will have a 192.168.*.* - 192.168.*.* type allowance correct? Do you also have a Fe80::/10 connection which aims at the network card?

Depending on your answers I would then consider uninstalling then reinstalling the version of Mcafee

Run MVT the virtual technician available in the Tech support link see if it finds an issue

          To uninstall

          http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?lc=1033&id=TS100507

          Reboot and run

          http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/Mcpreinstall.e xe

          reinstall from your account

Thank you this has worked successfully, I am concerned why this would have happened in the first place but I guess I'll never know

Which 1 was missing ie spoolsvc or the netbios tick wondering as the latter is not selected on my PC.
