Check the network configuration: we had a problem where our stingray service would not start because our hosts file did not match the network scripts:
Network Scripts: /data/linux/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/
Hosts File: /data/linux/etc/
Also, ensure that your host name is FQDN in hosts file and network scripts.
try reset stingray service.
service stingray reset
The minimum requirements are not met. The system has 6 GB RAM allocated based on the description. We can see this is true by the out of memory error when starting the service in the screenshot.
Configure a minimum of 8 GB RAM to allow the service to start.
In addition to Tony's comments regarding the minimum RAM requirements, the HDD minimum requirements are also not met. The primary disk should be between 512GB and 1TB. The second disk should be between 512GB and 8TB.
I have tested and verified that Stingray will not start with a 100GB secondary drive and would expect the same behavior with a 120GB disk. Please increase the disk sizes and RAM to the minimum required and reimage the VM.
Note: The DLP VM install guide does say the minimum requirements for the secondary disk is 100GB in table 1, however the correct minimum requirements can be found in the section "Add a Virtual Disk"; table 1 of the guide will be corrected in the next release of the product.
