today ,I have install the MVM 7.0 into windows server 2003 with SQL server 2005 sp2 in single server , open the FCM console ,I can see the scan engine .
open a IE with "https://192.168.1.1" and login ,create a new scan ,but have a error "Engine data is not currently available. Contact your McAfee Vulnerability Manager administrator"
That small snippet of the log isn't enough to go on really... Did you confirm the Scan Engine service is started, and that it's pointing to a valid Scan Controller?
if it's still an issue, then you should open a Service Request, and include the entire Scan Engine and Scan Controller logs.
