tells you how to enable logging on the client - I searched for "eepc log file" in the KC.
thats great - thanks for your help! I couldnt for the life of me get that article to show for me in all of my searched.
strange! Can you remember what you searched for, as I'll ask for those tags to be added to the article?
Maybe the KC was locked onto some other product, I always try the searches from the top level and then drill down - the KC search is not Google unfortunately...
I can't recall what i searched for, however i just tried EEPC logs and it came up with a hit a few entires down on the list.
thanks for your help
As a follow up, i've done some log gathering on a PC that is having this issue - on every policy update this is what is logged:
2011-11-22 16:44:45,511 INFO EpoPlugin Policy enforcement started..
2011-11-22 16:44:45,542 INFO EpoPlugin Sent download theme command to Epo id = 54E02CA3-9870-4225-BECC-63F0D7D3966C ver = 2

I've looked up the two error codes and I see:
The requested host service is not available
File Access error
Looking through the KBs at these error codes dont present much info for me - has anyone see this before? The system is XP SP3 and has EEPC v6.0.2 installed on it. Log level is 3 currently.
I Hace the same problem. My company laptops won´t decrypt. And I can´t find any errors on my logs....
Did you solve your problem?
You are using version 6.0.2 as well?
Yes. I'm trying to transfers all my systems from a legacy ePO 4.5 to a newly installed ePO 4.6.6.
But first I need to decrypt all laptops and then uninstall EEPC from all of them.
I set the policy to decrypt but the laptops simply ignore it. I can see in the Encryption Status that the policy has been updated. But they're still active and don't decrypt.
I coudn't find any errors in the log.
I was hoping you'd be using a newer version - 6.0 went EOL at the end of last year so I've got nothing for you :-(
