      for configuring a device to manually connect a device for EAS.  I have 3 devices, 2 androids, 1 wm device, none of these will get email.  The configuration completes, password is accepted looks good but no mail ever comes through.

          Are you showing any errors in the Windows Event Viewer?

            IIS log doesn't show any errors  a bunch of these entries

            2011-10-11 21:15:24 198.51.226.100 POST /TrustDigital-Certless-ActiveSync Cmd=Sync&Use... (user name and device information)

             

            McAfee log shows errors when I try to use the app but nothing when I try to manually connect.  Looks like the only way to make the manual connection work is to turn off compliance checking for any and all devices on the general screen.  I suspect there will be a lot of Android/WP devices that will require this.

              Can you please post some errors from the Event Viewer?

              What devices are you trying with? Manufacture and Model?

               

              It is strange, my experians is that all Android 2.2 devices can check in via the Market application but not manage to setup a exchange account manually because the e-mail client is not compliant.

              One thing to check if a device cannot check in via the application is to visit the emmportal via the device web browser to check that the SSL certificate is trusted.
