McAfee Virusscan Enterprise + Antispyware Enterprise 8.5.0i
Keep on saying unable to write to INI file, has not updated since 4th August 2008
@ Metalhead, where do you find this accessprotectionlog.txt file pls?
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\McAfee\DesktopProtection\AccessProtectionLog.txt is default.
Hi and thx Jsuuronen. Had a check at it and only found those programs and others being blocked by McAfee when trying to run/execute
But still does not explain as to why, during the manual update, we get the error could not write to INI file and our clients are still not updated. Any other help in this?

Have you tried to switch off the whole AccessProtection and then run an update - does this work ?
Yes, I've switch off the whole AccessProtection, and it's still not working... :mad:
