    Quick Clean update

Received a update on 09/09/2011 for Quick clean and shredder, and since then its says it can not

remove the following files and one reg entry.

      Cookies

      History

      History.IE5

      Temporrary Internet Files

      Content.IE5

      B977CB2D-EC6E-4A8F-BFFE-D18682BB0D52

I'am able to clean the above files with Reg Mechanic and CCleaner?

Using reg edit the reg item says it has something to do with IShareMedia settings Writer?

      I'm using Mcafee Internet Security

      Version: 11.

      Build: 11.0.578

      Updated:09/09/2011

      Quick Clean & Shredder

      Ver:11.

      Build: 11.0.393

      Updated:09/09/2011

      System

Windows 7 pro on a gateway tower

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

          Hi,

We suggest not to use any reg cleaner utilities with your active Antivirus programs as the same goes ahead and removes McAfee entries causing harm to the programs .

If that registry entry is of the reg cleaner itself, then removing the same and trying would give us the expected result

            Jai

            Thanks for the reply.

I've had both programs running for years?

It wasnt till I received the update from McAfee on 09/09/2011 that  this  issue came about.

The reg item has nothing to do with Reg mechanic or Ccleaner, according to reg edit and my limited knowledge

it has something to with IShare Media Settings Writer or in other words Media Player.

So, it should be a file that has to be altered in the specified file . Can you click on Useful links at the top of this page and then click on Technical support so that our technicians could diagnose the issue . Moreover, if its required the case would be escalated to the higher team for your resolution .

              Regards,
