Are you sure that's IE 8? It looks more like IE 9 to me - which unfortunately is not supported at this time
i'm sure you can't configure IE8 to show tabs next to the address bar thats an IE9 thing only
Well, that's weird - the tab layout, menus and icons are completely different in the second screenshot. I'm not sure what's going on there...
I'm not sure what to suggest, I'm afraid
that looks exactly like my browser which is IE9, but the buttons are IE8 which is very strange, maybe IE8 on win7 looks different. but rather than split hair's.
Press that white broken page icon on the first print screen on this page. This will run it in compatability mode and it should work.
let me explain two things:
1) i know differential between IE8 and IE9
2) i'm from Russia, that's why some system or program messages is on russian. i think that description of error on russian language may be unintelligible for users on this forum.
at first i tried to found answer to my question in internet, but i found nothing that can help me, only one article that contain description of such problem, but in IE9.
From this article i took first screenshot.
Now i ask this question here.
screenshot as i see it in my PC:
it's strange, but on another PC with IE9 ePO Console works well

Just a thought.
On my Win7 x64 laptop I actually have two versions of IE available, and it defaults to the 64-bit native version.
See if you have the same, and try the 'standard' version, which I assume is 32-bit.
i have tried in both vesions, with no results
The browser detection is probably done by looking at the user-agent in the browser headers... have you got your browser set to report a different user-agent? If you install Fiddler or a similar HTTP sniffer, can you see what the connection string is?
