Are you able to validate \core\config page? If you are not able to validate the \core\config page then please follow the steps of KB#: KB52600.
In addition to the machine name, I will also suggest to check the TCP port listed in db.properties and in SQL configuration manager. If there is mismatch then please correct it in db.properties file.
if the server was off for a few weeks maybe restarting epo services solve your problem
open the start menu and click on the run and then type services.msc
there are three mcafee epolicy service
mcafee epolicy orchestrator application service
mcafee epolicy orchestrator event parser
mcafee epolicy orchestrator apache
restart them and then try again to log in to epo.
I was unable to validate the core config page.
I have followed the steps in KB52600, there was no mismatch.
The problem persists.
I have restarted the services, this didn't work.
I will suggest to create a new SQL user with sysadmin rights, map to ePO DB and try to validate \core\config page.
If this is not helping then please open a case with support. We will hep you in figuring out the cause of the issue.
I am having the same problem. Have you had any luck in determining the solution to the issue without having to re-install the EPO?
I've uninstalled ePO and plan to reinstall tomorrow.
Figured it'll take less time than trying to resolve the issue.
I followed Hem suggestions and it worked. Thanks.
