That's usually caused by it trying to open a page that doesn't exist or has moved. Have you configured your home poage here?
April the Admin may have more ideas about this.
The URL in your screenshot is pointing to thread/images/emoticons/love.gif. I'm not sure the simple act of logging in would dump you on this page. Very strange!
This is where it had sent me a while back April. When we were originally having problems with the login date and IE9.This problem happened a few times while logging in.I think it is actually on the last thread with the same address.I remember seeing that in the browser also before.I had posted it here under post 35.Although you can`t see the browser.

It would be nice to here a little something on this.Since I posted about this problem a while back and thought this was fixed.Nothing personal but "Very strange" was not the answer I was hoping for.Since there are numerous articles about mcafee websites hacked.I have a bit of a concern as to what is going on here. Can you please update me.Here is one of the articles
.That's referring to the main website McAfee.com and is old. I'm sure they read that and acted upon it. They will never discuss that with us I'm afraid so I can't comment.
April already pointed out that the URL you are going to doesn't exist and it's probably caused by a bad cookie or old settings for your personalised home page pointing to a place that no longer exists.
The original issue here is I am pretty sure a bad cookie. Clear all cookies, history etc. in that browser, try signing in again.
I think it's IE you are using. Go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and click Reset and check to option to Delete Personal Settings. Click Apply/OK then close the browser.
That will make it forget all information to do with any website.
Now reopen it and go to http://community.mcafee.com/ and sign in.

Peter I know that you are trying to help and I always appreciate your help. But in my opinion there are still occasional issues with this site.I do not keep very many cookies.I don`t believe this is a bad cookie.I clean out all of that junk about every other day.Plus I have reset IE since the original issue which was posted in the 1st thread.I even set IE to delete browsing history on exit.I also use ccleaner to clean out all of the other garbage.I do not use the registry portion of ccleaner. Also if you look at post 4.In that thread #35 Is the same issue.Although it does not show the browser.I do remember it loaded the same address. With emoticons/love/.gif at the end of the address.as April states above. So you know this does not happen all the time.Although it has happened on about 3 or 4 different occasions in the last month or so.The one posted in other thread was on August 5.

Well then what is this '........images/emoticons/love.gif' ? That's what the URL says in that image.
