    VSE 8.7i and iPad/iPhone

      Our organization is having an issue that just surfaced late last week.  We have a few users that have iPads as well as iPhones. Up until late last week all of the sync and backup functions were working for all of those devices within iTunes. All of the sudden it stopped working for two users.  The desktop technicians have been testing to see what the issue might be, and have found that if they go into the Virus Scan Console (VSE 8.7.0.570) and turn off Access Protection and On-Access Scanner, the sync and backup functions begin working again.  We have already made sure that updates to the iTunes software and iPad/iPhone OS updates are not causing the issue.

       

      Have any of you seen this occur?  If so have you come up with a solution?
