Sounds like a permissions issue.. Try checking the security and permissions of that folder path.

I did all kind of checks that I am aware of but couldn't find anything important. The only difference seemsto be the ownership. The owner of the DAT files which the renaming attempt was about, are the server, where as the owner of the rest of the files seems to be me, the user which is equivalent to Admin.
As long as Netshield is running, no one even Admin can change the name or the owner of the DAT files. When I stop Netshield and change the ownership, Netshield restores them back as soon as it is run.
So, I am still at the beginnin.
I have exact same problem with 12 servers out of 65. Will try to find a solution. So far to keep my servers updated, i shutdown netshld and copy the 3 dat files manually and restart netshld.
Anyone at Mcafee support can assist resolving this ???
