I just wanted to add more data...
Within ePO, I click on a random Linux server within System Tree view and it brings up the "system details." System details don't provide "Hotfix/Patch Version" information. Unlike the Windows systems, they display what patch version is installed on that server. I was hopping to see this data within ePO. Maybe i'm looking in the wrong place?
I haven't looked at the VSEL browser interface. I would have to install Hummingbird to display the GUI and I don't want to use the GUI on a Linux system for basic information.
I was going to say that it should display in the "more" section next to the Linuxshield product properties in system details; but after looking at my system it doesn't appear to exist in there (at least for 1.5.1).
If doesn't exist in 1.6, maybe there is still time to get the functionality put into 1.7.
I wanted to provide the correct answer to my question so others are informed if they are still wondering the answer.
To verify installed hotfixes, run the following command: cat /opt/NAI/LinuxShild/etc/HF-Version
That will display all the hotfixes you have installed on that particular Linux server.
Thanks heaps for providing the answer.
Perfect timing for me as I had to do some VSEL HF installs today and wanted to make sure they installed correctly.
