I have just installed McAfee for the first time, total protection. In windows mail, a spam folder appeared, taking some of my emails coming from the form mail on our website and making them spam. It is impossible to move them from this folder to the inbox. I turned off the anti spam and it did the same thing. I tried deleting the spam folder, it popped up again the next time I opened windows mail.
How can I get Anti spam to leave my email alone? I don't want to use it at all for my windows mail account. I don't want customers sending messages that I am not getting or able to continue to reply to.
How can I get rid of this?
What email client?
Usual to mark as not spam and it auto returns to the inbox. Whan there mark it as a friend. All this in the anti spam toolbar do you have a toolbar? Depending on email client you might not.
Post also your anti spam version."about" top right or if no about there go to navigation and left of the screen.
Moving to Anti spam
I do not have a toolbar in Windows Mail, but I went to McAfee Anti-Spam drawer and unchecked the box for toolbars in Windows Mail anyway, then turned the Anti-spam off again. This finally removed the Spam mail folder from my email. I hope that I am getting the spam mail, and it's not just being rejected now before I get a chance to see it!!!
I'm not sure what an email client is, but it is webmail by Blue Host, if that's the right answer.... My anti-spam version is 12, content version 3931, and engine version 188.8.131.5286.
Email client is windows mail that is what is meant by that.
So toolbar should work on Windows mail have you tried reenabling it?
Is this on Vista or windows 7?
My point was re-enable it, open and close windows mail and if toolbar now there your should be able to mark the emails as not spam and friend the emails. If this does not re-enable toolbar well I will ask a Anti spam tech to comment.

To move messages from Anti-Spam folder to the Inbox you need to press a button on a toolbar/right-click menu "Mark as Not Spam"; it should be rare enough though that good email is marked incorrectly. In this case you can add a friend.
mate he says
I do not have a toolbar in Windows Mail,
This was with box to enable toolbar in WM selected. I suggested reenabling it and see if it now works. He had turned it off (never had the toolbar) when he started having this issue.
Ok thanks I see the friend option there but I assume you need the toolbar box ticked.
