However stupid this may sound I may have possibly installed a virus, I was watching the movie 'Harry potter and the philosphers stone' online at www.quicksilverscreen.im and I checked If It was safe and It came across safe, I only streamed the movie and did not download however shortly after the first 20 minutes my sytem shut down, when I turnt It back on It said something along the lines of 'Windows failed to restart. Windows Is shutting down.' So I went Into my system repair and I had too use system restore. When I got back onto my system corrctly I ran my mcafee anti virus and It came up as 'Fix now.' so I clicked the option and then got told that 'one or more problems cannot be fixed because of an error' and I honestly don't know what to do. My mcafee Is working now but I am still worried that my system may be infected so I am currently running a scan.
Any other advice would be strongly appreciated though.
Most likely that Windows simply got overloaded or there was a hardware conflict somewhere. The trouble with those messages is that they really don't tell you anything so out comes the crystal ball, if you are lucky.
