Your thread is been moved to EPO section , you would be helped by EpO experts soon
I'm afraid I'm not sure exactly what you're asking... can you explain a bit more about what you mean?
I have 2 ePO server on my domain, is there a way to synchronize them with each other? that every change that I do in one of them will be seen in the second ePO server.
or an ePO server can only be synchronized with AD or Agent Handler?
There's no way to completely sync two servers, I'm afraid. There are a few things that you can do like sharing policies and rollup reporting that will share some information between two servers, but you can't have one server being a complete copy of another. Sorry
Depending on what you want/need, perhaps replacing one of the servers with an Agent Handler (see ref.) might help you ?
An AH takes the policies from a (central) ePO server and is able to distribute them.
Here we've combined 2 agent handlers (AH) with 2 distributed repositories (DR) and it works fine. The AH/DR send all their logs to the centralized DB and reporting works fine as well.
Note that McAfee seems to restrice usage of AH to a few specific situations - unlike usage of DR which seems to be more common. We're only using 2 AH but are considering using more DR !
I think what Serge and Joe really are asking is "Why are there two separate servers?"
Was it a perfomance, budget, politics, etc...
someone told me that i can have 2 ePO servers in a domain and they will back up each other if one of them will crush or something like that,
But i got him down of this idea and installed agent handlers.
thanks a lot,
