Can you access the VS Console by clicking on Start Menu/All Programs/McAfee/VirusScan Console?
Do you have Patch #4 installed? If not, please do.
If you are still unable to to access the console in the appropriate manner, I recommend performing a complete, manual uninstall, then reinstall the program using the link below:
