    Activation Problem

      Hi, I have a problem.


      I purchased an Antivirus Plus 2011, installed it and activated it with no problem.

      Unfortunately, my computer hard disk got a problem and I was obliged to change it. When I tried to

      reinstall my antivirus on the new disk the activation phase does not pass (The obtained message said that I have to buy a new license).

      Is there any way to fix this trouble.

          • Open a web browser and go to http://home.mcafee.com.
          • Click My Account in the upper right corner.
          • Select the My Account option.
          • Enter your McAfee user account and password.
          • If you want your browser to remember your passwod ensure that the Remember Me option is selected.
          • Click Log In.
          • Under the My Protection Products section, select the subscription from which you would like a license released.


          • This will take you to the list of machines currently being protected by McAfee.
          • Find the computer you want to deactivate and click the Deactivate button to the right.


          • Now you may try to activate McAfee.
