    VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i exclusions lost after new engine / hotfix applied

      I have a couple of clients that are running McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i (non-ePO managed) that have made a few customizations to their install. One client has added
      RAAdmin.exe to the list of exclusions (double click on On Access Scanner > All Processes > Detection tab > client Exclusions button > Add > type c:\raadmin\*). Another client has create a customized scan task.

      Whenever McAfee releases a new engine or a hotfix is applied, the client with the exclusions has their exclusions set back to default (just Windows File Protection) and the client that has a customized scan task says that their scan stops working properly. In both cases they have to redo all their settings.

      Is this behaviour normal when a new Engine or a Hotfix is applied?
