I installed MS Exchange 2010 SP1, Mcafee Groupshield 7.0.2 and Mcafee Quarantine manager 7 products.
Server 1: Edge + Groupshield
Server 2: HUB, CAS, MB + Groupshield
Server 3: Quarantine manager + MSSQL 2008 R2 express
These working fine, but I cannot release a quarantiend email. I get the following error:
The Mcafee product is currently unavailable. Please try again later.
Do you have any ideas why this is?
Database corruption problem?
If its that there is a workaround with Tier III involvement
are the items that are getting released being detected by gse on the mb server? also is there an smtp address listed for the recipient for the item being released.
I would say that apparently nothing is listening (or the communication is blocked) on the port that is specified in Groupshield as MQM listen port. Please check port assignments and perhaps if any firewall, etc. is not blocking this communication (even local Virusscan on the Exchange or MQM server).
Has this MQM ever worked for you prior to this failure in the same implementation?
