I moved this just in case to Malware Discussion ? Home User Assistance.
That isn't a McAfee file as far as I know, but what it is I can't tell you as Google doesn't seem to have much information on it.
I suggest you download, install, update and run a full scan using an independant anti-malware application such as the FREE version of THIS software.
The only other idea I have is perhaps you have recently run a registry cleaner and it has removed something it shouldn't have? That happens all the time hence I never recommend such applications.
What is your operating system's service pack? What McAfee products are you using?
I'm using Window Vista Home Premium version 6.0 (Build 6002: Service pack 2) and McAfee SecurityCenter (Windows) Subscription 1Via Dell.
I've downloaded updated and run the anti malware and it has came back with a few nasties so I deleted them using the programme (and kept the log). Now I reboot and I have 2 similar error warnings but over different files. Description as follows:
Error loading milihfd.dll The specified module could not be found.
Error loading c:\users\*myname*\appdata\local\temp\urssss.dll The specified module could not be found.
The original full error message was as follows but this no longer seems to appear:
Error loading C:\Users\*myname*\AppData\Local\comcint.dll
The specified module could not be found.
They only seem to display when opening my laptop.
Hope you can help
Also I haven't run a registry cleaner.
Try running Hijackthis but don't try to fix it yourself. Instead post the log on one of the following forums for expert advice.
Do not post Hijackthis logs here, we can't help with those!
Post the logs at a specialist Forum:
Be sure to read all the sticky announcements/instructions at the top of each malware forum!
All you need to do is click start> run> type> msconfig> click on the startup tab> uncheck/tick the boxes for urssss.dll and comcint.dll>reboot.
The message should no longer appear.
