ok....so youre saying that Eepc would not block any network shares? These clients are managed by the EPO. is it not possible that the EPO is blocking ping and network shares?
EPO is a management thing - it's not on your clients.
Most likely you have installed VSE, or a firewall along with the EPO agent, so you need to configure that to allow incoming connections to the EPO managed machines - it's not going to be anything to do with the EEPC policy, it's going to be to do with any other McAfee products you've installed at the same time - again, most likely a firewall of some kind.
