Now I'm using Win Vista that is installed endpoint (Endpoint Encryption for PC Client Manager (v5.1.8)). But vista is so slow that I'd like to install win 7. I would like that win 7 and vista are existing in my laptop. But when I install Win 7, I find all the partitions are encrypted. It prompts all the partitions are required to be formatted.
Could you give me some advice? What should I do?
If decryption is so long, I would like to backup my files, format the disk and re-install win 7. FixMBR is required, right?
The steps as below, is it right?
When booting from win7 CD, after selecting repair >cmd prompt, enter:
Thank you so much!
You're not going to be able to do this - firstly because only your EEPC administrator can reconfigure your encryption policy, and 2nd, because Microsoft don't allow installation of a 2nd OS on top of an encrypted drive.
You'll have to get your IT department to remove the product from your machine, then set it up again on both OSs prior to activating it.
