    IDispatch error!

      I am getting a error message "failed to create IDispatch" after the completion of full scan and quick scan ...pls can any one give me a solution for this IDispatch error..

      dell inspiron N5010

      Intel(R)core(TM)i3 CPU M 380@ 2.53 GHZ

      Microsoft Windows 7 Home Basic edition (64 bit)

          Is there any registry cleaner software like Glary Utilities, iolo System Mechanic on your computer?

           

          How long you have been facing this issue? What is the operating system and Internet Explorer version on your computer?

            this problem started about 2-3 days ago after i installed glary utilities .....but now i hv uninstalled it.....

            am using windows 7 home basic edition...

              hey i downloaded that mvtinstaller from http://mvt.mcafee.com but its not working.... when i opened.. it says "unable to reach mcafee server.please check your internet connection" what should i do???

                Please checkf older C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and remove all other files rather than hosts,lmhosts.sam, networks, protocol and services. Then please open Hosts file in notepad and replace it with below Hosts file content.

                Open Internet Explore >> Tools >> Internet Options >>Connections (Tab) >> Lan Settings >> Uncheck all the option and click OK.

                 

                Click Start, Search,type cmd.exe,and press ENTER.

                In the Search Results window,right-click cmd.exe andselect RunAs Administrator.

                In the command promptwindow, type:

                netsh int ipreset reset.log <EnterButton>
                ipconfig-flushdns <EnterButton>

                Close the commandprompt window.

                    yesterday i was able to install mvt and i scanned it...but still getting the error:(((....so am asking you that is this error some kind of virus or wat?

                      Absolutely not, this errors happens as the so said registry cleaners might have removed or have a incompatibility issues with McAfee programs , Moreover  these errors do not have any impact on the PC’s.

                      And since you have uninstalled glary utilities already , Please contact our technical support chat from Useful links at the top of this page so that our technicians help you remove the remnants traces of glary utlities if found any and fix the idispatch eror for you.
