What product are you using, and what version of it? Also what kind of laptop is it (Model - I know it's a Dell )
Thanks for your replay !!!
We are using McAfee Endpoint Encyption Manager V5,2,4,1 . and i have installed on Dell Latitude E4310 in which we are facing this issue in many laptops.
When is this happen? after installing Safeboot?
Yes, this is happing after installation & this is intermediate issue.
I think this something with BIOS and Safeboot then..you should contact Dell & McAfee Support for this.
is this also happen with same model?
To recover/unisntall you will need to boot to wintech rescus cd and remove the eepc from safeboot wintech.
Thanks Dear for your response !!!
Yes, this is happing in same model like Dell Latitude E4310 only. as per McAfee support, they told me that this is compability issue with laptop and McAfee endpoint encyption manager 22.214.171.124 in which we are using. they suggest us that to upgrade our Endpoint Encryption Manager with latest version.
Today, we will try to upgrade laptops BIOS version. but i didn't thik that this settings will resolve our issue because we have many laptop with same configuration.
We don't need to recover/uninstall. because after multiple try to ON/OFF its working without issue .
They should have told you to upgrade your EEPC clients to the latest version - upgrading your EEM is of course naturally a part of this. I think this issue was resolved around 5.2.5 for these specific Dell's (As others have said, workarounds for unfixed BIOS issues).
You need to tun on and off multiple time before it's reconized the encrypted disk and boot up..?
Hopefully new update BIOS can fix this..
Definetly, this issue was resolved by upgrading EEM. because we have another Dell laptop vostro 1320 in which it was working fine without any issue. so i think so it will be resolved our issue.
thanks for your response.your suggestion really helpfull for us...
