It seems that you have already started anotherthread for the same issue.
Are you getting the error message “McAfee Integrated Security Platform Installer stopped working” or “McAfee Integrated Security Platform installer has encountered a problem”?
If yes, main reason for this issue is the third party security applications installed on the your computer, these third-party applications will not allow McAfee software to run correctly. To ensure your computer is functioning efficiently with McAfee software, remove any such applications also need to ensure that Windows Host file is not getting corrupted.
Please check folder C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and remove all other files rather than hosts, lmhosts.sam,networks,protocol and services. Then please open Hosts file in notepad and replace it with below Hosts file content. Please remove any other third security softwares like Norton, Microsoft Security Essentials, WindowsLive OneCare, etc..

Please run MCPR tool.
Run McAfee preinstall tool.
Ensure that Windows is up to date.
Reboot the computer
Try to install McAfee again.

Could you post some details about the computer that you cannot get this installed on please? It would be helpful to know the operating system, hardrive size, ram, manufacturer, browser version, method of connection to the internet,etc.
This will help us to troubleshoot the issue further
it's an emachines computer with windows 7(home premium)640 hard drive....now all other questions im not sure because i'm not that computer savvy....this was supposed to be simple!!...it did have a 60 day trial of norton which i uninstalled!

looks like i'm just beat for my money because nothing is working...darn thing worked for my other computer....is their someone i can call about this...i dont like running my computer unprotected!!!!!very disappointed!!!!!
