I think 64 Bit is not the problem... but you have to run the console inside 32Bit InternetExplorer.
Win2008 64Bit is already supported => https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB68147
Win2008 R2 is not supported, but I already tried it within a testing-environment, and it works.
thanks for your answer!
McAfee support has confirmed me that the info reported on the DLP 9.1 installation guide are not complete. Next friday i'll go to customer that has an epo4.5 installed on windows 2008 r2, to install dlp 9.1. I'll give you a feedback next week.
Any positive or negative experiences with installing on w2008 R2?
What database version did you use?
Hi to All
Last friday i have installed dlp 9.1 on w2k8 r2 with epo4.5 console, on sql2008express-64bit and all seems to functioning well. I have deployed dlp 9.1 agent on 3-4 client and policies are applied correctly.
At this point i believe w2k8 r2 is supported like w2k8 32-64 bit.
thanks to all
