    System Security 2011 Trojan (TrojanSPM/LX)

Unfortunately was infected on a couple of PC's yesterday with the System Security 2011 Trojan (TrojanSPM/LX).

On doing a little research found that this is quite recent malware (reported in the last couple of months).  What I was more suprised at was that VirusScan didn't pick this up, even with on-access protection.

Did anyone elses ePO setup or VirusScan pick it up, I understand that it's probably more categorised as malware or spyware.  Am currently running VSE 8.7 on clients and testing VSE 8.8.  Funnily enough I just noticed that VSE 8.8 has now become "VirusScan Enterprise + AntiSpyware Enterprise 8.8".

Do you think it would be safe to presume the new version of VSE may have picked up the trojan? Beginnning to wonder what we're spending our money on when trojans are able to get in without being picked up by VSE.

Hope someone can shed a little more light onto this.

      Thanks in advance.
