I think I have the Google Toolbar Redirect Virus

I have McAfee Anti-Virus Plus, and using Firefox as a browser.

I ensured that Windows and McAfee are up to date. I ran Scan in Safe Mode with Networking Support:

"Scan Completed: No Issues Detected

Percentage completed: 100%

Items Scanned: 122917

Items Detected: 0

Items Fixed: 0

Items Remaining: 0

I ran Stinger, as directed, once with the default settings and once with Report Only, Very High, Scan inside Compressed Files:

"McAfee(r) Labs Stinger(tm) Version 10.1.0.1375 built on Feb 15 2011

Copyright (c) 2011 McAfee, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

Virus data file v1000.0000 created on Feb 15 2011.

Ready to scan for 2208 viruses, trojans and variants.

Scan initiated on Wed Feb 23 19:13:25 2011

  Number of clean files: 188693

The bottom line is that after all this I still get redirected to junk sites when I use the Google Toolbar and click on any of the results. (I even have tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox.) I am posting this here because that what DOC-1294 says to do. I hope someone can help me. Thanks!!
