Our McAfee software identified a 'Trojan' yesterday and at the same time our home internet access has been adversely affected. The message reported is that our computer cannot access the web through the 'http' port. Strangely, there is a good Internet signal and our ISP confirms that our service is fine: we can access our email, but simply can't gain Internet access to any webpage. Our ISP said that email probably goes through a different port.
We've reinstalled our McAfee software, but this hasn't solved the problem. Might the problem be the Trojan, or that the McAfee software is blocking something?
Is there any out there who may have experienced the same issue, or can offer any advice?
