Use WinTech CD to fix missing files or remove encryption.
you must have deleted safeboot.rsv/safeboot.dat from the root of the boot drive?
An emergency boot will probably fix this - your IT team can help you with that. Failing that as Peter says you can use WinPE to copy your data off and reimage the machine, or you can use WinTech/SafeTech to simply decrypt the drive.
your IT team is the key to all of this though - you can't fix this on your own.
Thank you very much
Plz Help me again
I back to office. But my IT team cann't help. He didn't know help to do a emergency boot, and just give me wintech disk and tell me pull all files out.
They just can reinstall my laptop. I don't want to do that.
Now I have Wintech and key file. I can read and write my disk now. I hope to fix my system.
but I can not find the two files you had mentioned in my disk.
Plz tell me where and send me the file to fix this.
Hoping you help so much
my safeboot version is 4.2
Thank you very much
the files you deleted are created when the encryption activates. You can't "replace" them. Only an eBoot will do that, but the best bet is to copy your data off and start again, or decrypt the machine and let it recrypt itself.
Remember, it's not your machine, it belongs to your IT team, so if they don't want you to recover it, there's not much you can do.
OK, My Dear.
I just want to pretect the information of my company, and get it normal as before.
I'm already start the emerceny boot and without the access code i am not able to do anything
I tel my it guy, he didn't kown too. so please tell me the code plz
i'm beging, and help me plz
You'll have to get the code from your IT team - They can get it via the McAfee support portal, or by calling support, but it's not appropriate for me to give it to you - you could be trying to break into someone else's laptop for all I know. Who did your company buy the software from? They should also be able to help you.
