Thank you for the response. Yes , Virtual technician is run everytime I access the McAfee support site.
Running couple of malware programs might create conflicts especially during its update process. Please try to uninstall the malware bytes and restart the computer and check if McAfee still says virus protection is turned off. If yes, please get me a screen shot of that so that would make things easier.
Also, get me the session id number of your McAfee virtual technician.
