    source ip address

Currently we have web gateway 7 setup in proxy and wccp mode. Our Cisco asa see all internet traffic with a source IP of the interface of the web gateway. Is there a way to setup the web gateway so that it passes the source ip address of the clients instead of only displaying the WG interface IP?

      Thank you.

          Hello,

generally yes. this requires MWG to operate as transparent bridge or router, which will be an architectural change in your setup. However, for best performance we generally suggest to use explicit proxy mode, as this is the most proven mode. We have ip retention for this mode on the radar as well, but can't make any comment on when it will be availble.

          best,

          Michael
