likely your user is just typing a user name that is not set to that machine - do a machine recovery and get it to sync, then look in the client log to see what users were actually deployed to the machine (or look in EEM)..
I have the same user on the McAfee Server and locally. PC is not in domain.
User can logiing without any problem by boot of PC. But if he locked the screen or the screen will automatically lockt, then he can not unlock.
I resyncronize the configuration with the server.
Is it possible that it is license issu? I I wrote befor I have nly test license on the second server?
no. it's not possible for it to be a licence issue.
If the user works pre-boot, then there must be some difference in the interpretation or typing of the user name between the pre-boot screen and the windows screen - are you sure the keyboard layouts are identical, and indeed you are using the exact same user name in both situations?
Mmm it is possible. Because I don´t know user password i can not exlude this possibility.
Because I can not create additionla user (test license problem) I will wait for user and will ask to change his password.
He sid to me that he has Ö symbol. This is from german and in this case maybe mcafee has a problem.
But I thinked that mcafee use the same keyboard layout like a winodws because the installtion is also in german.
I have to check and let you know if your idea is correct. Thank you and best regards,
good thought - try using just ascii chars - it's not inconcievable there is a problem with the German keyboard processor.
A good test I use is to type the password into the user name box to see if it displays the right chars.
Thank you were rigth. It was reallly issue with keyboard layout. We changed just now password for user nad synchronize again.
It works now. Thank you for fast help and best regards,
